abstract: Burial, order, and the live column. A position is one signed instruction and five recorded fields; the stack is every unwithdrawn position in the order they arrived; and the only door is the top. This page prints the mechanics, the corridor, and the column itself, row by row, live.

burial

To bury is to sign a single instruction. The program moves the stated amount from the signer's token account into the stack vault and writes a position account: owner, amount, the slot of interment, and a depth index one greater than every position before it. Nothing is minted, nothing is wrapped, and no receipt token exists to trade. The position is the receipt, and it is not transferable. The minimum burial is native units, a floor whose purpose is explained in the economics of spam. Burial has no lock timer, no cooldown, and no penalty; its only constraint is structural, since every later burial lands on top of yours and stands between you and the door. A wallet may hold any number of positions, each its own place in line.

withdrawal

Withdrawal is the mirror instruction. It succeeds only for the position at depth one, returns the full amount, marks the record withdrawn, and decrements every remaining depth by one, so the whole column settles by a single course. Any attempt from deeper fails with the error 'not at surface'. An exit at depth d is therefore d minus one decisions owned by strangers, an arithmetic worked in the docs rather than discovered later.

The figure beside this section is the exit drawn honestly: one door, at the top, and a column of positions each waiting on everything above it.

postures

Three postures follow from the arithmetic, and the column above shows which of them the living stack has chosen. The sprinter buries late and shallow, keeps the door in reach, and collects thin. The settler buries early and large and compounds the heaviest claim in the machine. The watcher holds no position at all and farms the vent bounty instead. The machine needs all three: shallow liquidity, deep ballast, and an awake operator.
